Woodfired Pizza Cook/chef

Wildwood Pizza Christchurch is looking for a casual Woodfired Pizza Chef/Cook  to join our team.

This is primarily weekend work, with shifts at different events and locations around Christchurch.

What you’ll be doing

• Rolling and preparing pizza dough
• Preparing and applying pizza toppings
• Cooking pizzas in our woodfired pizza oven
• Food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Serving customers and taking orders
• Keeping the food truck clean and organised
• Working efficiently during busy events

What we’re looking for

• Some previous experience in a woodfired Pizza Oven cooking 
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Friendly and customer-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team
• A full or restricted NZ driver licence and access to a reliable car is required, as we trade at different locations and events
• Available mainly on weekends, with occasional weekday/event work
