We're seeking confident hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and enjoy working in professional event environments. This is a great opportunity for experienced hospitality staff who want to work across a variety of corporate events, gala dinners, conferences, plated dinners, buffets and other large-scale functions.

Where You'll Work

Our Corporate Event Front of House team works across a range of professional events and venues, including:

• Corporate conferences and meetings
• Gala dinners
• Plated dinners
• Buffet functions
• Awards nights
• Corporate hospitality events
• Weddings and private functions
• Large-scale events and functions
• Premium venues and hotels

What You'll Be Doing

Duties may include:

• Welcoming and assisting guests in a professional manner
• Providing friendly and efficient table service
• Serving plated meals and beverages
• Assisting with buffet service and replenishment
• Taking food and beverage orders where required
• Setting and clearing tables efficiently
• Preparing dining and event areas before service
• Assisting with event setup and pack-down
• Working closely with kitchen and bar teams
• Maintaining high presentation and hygiene standards
• Ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience throughout the event
• Working efficiently as part of a large event team

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Previous Front of House, waitstaff or event hospitality experience
• Experience working at conferences, functions, dinners or large-scale events is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A professional appearance and positive attitude
• The ability to remain calm and organised during busy events
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliability and punctuality
• Availability for evenings, weekends and event shifts
• The ability to work at different venues across Christchurch
• A full New Zealand driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle is preferred
