Farm Assistant

We are looking for one person to help on our 950 cow family owned and operated dairy farm 30min west of Taupo. You would be supporting our team of seven permanent staff.  

The role would predominantly involve milking cows and helping around the cowshed. The roster will be 6 on 2 off. The hours would be 35-45 hours a week. The position is available from the 26th of August 2026 for a minimum of four weeks but could be longer. 

Farming experience and a reasonable level of English is preferred. We are looking for someone who is a team player with a positive attitude. You must have your own transport as we are located 30mins out of town with no public transport.

You would have your own furnished three bedroom house with attached carport and garage on the property.

$80 a week will be deducted from your wages for rent and power. Internet is available in the cowshed office.
