Housekeeping

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to work at our busy Holiday Park in Lake Tekapo. 
We need someone who has strong work ethics and a can-do attitude to join our amazing team – All-rounder who enjoys variety in their work day. This is a Housekeeping position working in the varied types of accommodation we have on offer. 

5 days a week with the same 2 days off every week. Around 30 hours a week, sometimes more. (guaranteed 25 hours per week) 

Hourly rate is $25.00 an hour with heavily discounted accommodation if needed. Minimum 3-5 month contract with opportunities to work for longer. 

Your responsibilities are:

• Change bed linen and make beds
• Replace used towels
• Sweep and mop floors
• Vacuum carpets
• Dust furniture
• Clean bathrooms: Showers, Toilets and sinks.
• Clean Kitchens: Appliances, microwaves, fridges and sinks.
• All facilities blocks cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. 
• Replenish room products (e.g., soap and shampoo)
• Report any technical issues and or maintenance needs to the maintenance department
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
• All other duties as requested from the Park Managers and Housekeeping Manager

Experience in Housekeeping is preferred and a starting date of AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
