2 X Farm Assistants

We are in urgent need of two male Farm Assistants to see us through to the end of the year.

New Contract Milkers on farm on the rugged West Coast.

Calving and eventually Milking our full herd of 500 cows, through a 36-bail rotary, with auto cup removers and teat sprayers.

We need two males that:

• Can confidently ride 2- and 4-wheel motorbikes
• Are strong and fit who can lift at least a 20kg calf.
• Like working outdoors come rain or shine. 
• Have the stamina to work long days but enjoy days off to explore the West Coast of NZ.
• Calf rearing or milking experience to step in and be able to milk from day1 a great bonus.

We are located near the stunning Lake Brunner with everything it has to offer, cafe, shops, lovely pub, water sports etc.

Starting ASAP

You must have your own transport to get to the farm and working holiday visa that allows you to work up to 3 months at one employer.

Accommodation on farm is free. 2 Bedroom cottage with internal access garage.

PLEASE NOTE IT IN WINTER IN NZ AND SO SOME DAYS WILL BE WET AND COLD - ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO WORK IN THE CHANGING WEATHER THE RUGGED WEST COAST HAS TO OFFER!!
