Café All-Rounder – Join Our Friendly Bakery Team!

Location: Kaikōura Bakery
Start Date: Early August 2026

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Café All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a position of approximately 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to work 40+ hours per week during school holidays and the busy summer season.

About the Role

You'll be involved in all aspects of our busy bakery café, including:

• Serving customers with a smile
• Making espresso coffee and other hot drinks
• Operating the till and handling payments
• Keeping the café clean, tidy and well stocked
• General café duties and assisting the team wherever needed

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has excellent English communication skills.
• Delivers outstanding customer service.
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Learns quickly and is able to work independently after a short training period.
• Is reliable, punctual, well presented and takes pride in their work.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Is available to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Preferred (but not essential)

• Previous café or hospitality experience.
• Barista coffee-making experience.
