We are Waka Campa, a campervan rental company bringing a brand-new fleet of vehicles to New Zealand’s roads! We’re all about making epic Kiwi road trips simple, comfortable, and unforgettable for travellers from all over the world.

The Job

We need a talented photographer and videographer to help us bring our new fleet to life online!

We’re looking for someone to capture stunning visuals for our new vehicle listings and also add to our library of "How-To" video guides for our guests.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fleet Photography: Capturing clean interior and exterior shots, clever storage features, and cozy lifestyle scenes.
  • "How-To" Video Guides: Shooting simple, clear, bite-sized videos showing guests how to operate campervan features (e.g., setting up the bed, connecting shore power, operating the gas stove, emptying greywater, etc.).
  • Social Snippets: Editing short, punchy clips/reels suited for Instagram, TikTok, and our website.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Gear & Skills: Proven experience with photo and short-form video shooting/editing. (A professional camera rig or a high-end mobile creator setup with clear audio recording equipment is required).
  • Clear Storytelling: Ability to make complex instructions look super simple and friendly on camera.
  • Eye for Detail: Spotting clutter or bad lighting before hitting record.
  • Requirements: A valid NZ Driver License, rights to work in NZ, and a passion for road trips!
