We are excited to welcome extraordinary individuals to Carnmore Chateau Marlborough and our renowned restaurant, Quench. We are currently seeking Guest Services Agent to join our team in Marlborough, a region steeped in rich culture and traditions.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 1 year working in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to cover shifts as needed
  • Proficient in computer applications, with a sound understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

 

 The role consists of, but not limited to: 

  • Supervise and support the front office and guest services team to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and efficiently
  • Train and mentor staff to uphold luxury service standards
  • Assist in managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Efficient and professional handling of all telephone/email reservations including prompt confirmation responses and re-confirmations for busy shifts
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and health & safety regulations
  • Showing Walk-in enquiries through rooms and upselling
  • Generating reports for the relevant departments
  • Conducting patrols of the hotel
  • Assisting the Front Office & Reservations Manager
  • Assisting other departments where needed
  • Shifts will be on a roster basis, with Night Auditor shifts to be covered as required
