ENGINEERS - WELDERS - FABRICATORS
Are you enjoying your working holiday in New Zealand and want to use your trade skills?
We are looking for qualified and/or experienced engineers/welders/fabricators to join our client's team in beautiful South Canterbury.
About the company
Bleeker & Weith Engineering is a well-established, locally owned South Canterbury engineering business with a strong reputation for quality fabrication, installation, maintenance, and project work across industrial and commercial environments.
With a team of approximately 30 engineers and tradespeople, they are known for practical problem-solving, strong workmanship, and a professional but down-to-earth culture. Their work is varied, technically interesting, and supported by experienced leadership, organised systems, and a strong workflow structure.
They need a qualified Engineering Tradesperson to join their team in a permanent, full-time position. They are also open to those on working holiday or other visas that are looking for a shorter contract term, eg 6 - 12 months.
About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of workshop, project, shutdown, and site-based work rather than repetitive production-only environments. We are looking for someone practical, reliable, and motivated who takes pride in producing quality work and contributing positively to a strong team culture.
