Calve Rearer And Farm Assistant

We are seeking two people to join our team over the calving period. Our farm milks 500 cows through a two‑person herringbone shed and is located 5 minutes from Culverden, 30 minutes from Hanmer Springs, and 1 hour 15 minutes from Christchurch.

We are looking to fill:

• Calf Rearer — responsible for rearing the calves
• Farm Assistant — milking and general farm duties during calving

These roles would suit friends or a couple, as accommodation is shared. Calving begins late July, with work available for 2–3 months.

What we’re looking for

• A great attitude, who has experience with farm animals and machinery, enjoys physical outdoor work and working in a team.
• Good level of English
• A valid NZ Driver Licence (accommodation is located 10 minutes from the farm on another property)
