About the Role

We’re looking for a driven fixed term Chef de Partie ready to own their section and deliver consistently high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef, taking responsibility for prep, service, and performance — while helping guide and develop junior chefs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Run your section from prep through to service and close-down
• Deliver dishes with consistency, quality, and attention to detail 
• Stay composed and solutions-focused during busy services 
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation 
• Manage stock, reduce waste, and monitor quality
• Support and coach junior chefs to build capability

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a professional kitchen (Demi CDP ready to step up welcome) 
• Strong cooking fundamentals and food safety knowledge 
• Confidence running a section in a busy service environment
• A positive, team-first attitude with leadership potential
• ✅ Must be eligible to live and work in New Zealand
