Factory Team Member Night Shift

About the Client
Our client operates a modern dry-processing facility in Wigram, Christchurch, specialising in the production of stockfeed for calves and other animal nutrition products. They pride themselves on creating a workplace where people are supported, recognised, and part of a close-knit team.

We are seeking Factory Team Members on NIGHT SHIFT to join our client during their peak production season. This is a fixed term opportunity covering Early June through to September/October.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small, supportive team in a busy production environment where reliability and teamwork are key.

Weekly Roster:
Monday: 3:45pm – 1:45am
Tuesday – Thursday: 4:45pm – 2:45am

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery including filling machines, case packers & palletising robots
• Supporting general production line duties including sorting, packing & quality control
• Managing damaged or wasted product to maintain production efficiency
• Product packing and batching
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across equipment and work areas
• Basic use of scanning and tracking systems for product movement and traceability
• Basic forklift operating

What we’re looking for

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg repetitively
• Reliable, honest, and a strong team player
• Comfortable working day shift hours and early mornings
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Willing and committed to the entire peak production season.
• NZ Forklift Certificate & experience
