Location: Hanmer Springs, New Zealand Employment Type: Part‑Time / Full‑Time Pay: $25–$30 depending on experience Start: September mid

Join our kitchen team across two unique venues:

• Tease Robo Café Bar & Eatery – fun, fast‑paced, modern, and home to Hanmer’s first food‑delivery robot
• No.31 Restaurant & Bar – elegant fine dining with a weekly chef tasting menu, reputation for quality and consistency

We’re looking for a motivated Chef who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys creativity, and takes pride in delivering consistently great food.

✨ Job Summary

You’ll work across both kitchens, preparing dishes to a high standard, maintaining food safety, and supporting smooth service. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and a mix of casual and refined dining styles.

✨ Key Responsibilities

• Food preparation and cooking during service
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and consistency
• Assisting with menu items, specials, and prep lists
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
• Working efficiently during busy periods
• Communicating clearly with FOH and kitchen teams
• Supporting training and development of junior staff

✨ Qualifications & Skills

• Previous kitchen experience preferred (but keen learners welcome)
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Strong understanding of food safety
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑focused
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
