Hotel Housekeeper 24+

Pay: $24/hour+
Location: Franz Josef Glacier, West Coast
Experience: Some experience preferred, but not essential

Franz Josef Oasis Hotel is a 20-room boutique property just a few minutes’ drive from the township. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a housekeeper.

To be successful, you’ll need a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid NZ work visa and IRD number are required. Having your own car would be a bonus. The job will be available until the end of April 2027 and may be extended if you are good with Reception.

Your duties will include:

• Prepare breakfast for hotel guest(start to work at 7 AM in the morning)(5-6 days a week)
• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard. Stripping off rooms, making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring rooms are guest-ready, and work can be done in a reasonable time frame
• Vacuuming, mopping, and general housekeeping tasks
• Reception in the afternoon(if you are suitable for the job)

What we offer:

• Minimum of 20 hours per week(if you only working in housekeeping and breakfast), with more hours available if you could cover reception
• Working 5–6 days a week.
• $24+ per hour starting rate
• Job will start from September
• Staff accommodation available on request
