Housekeeping Hot Tub Superstars

We have an amazing opportunity to join our incredible team at Driftaway Queenstown! Applicants can apply as a single or duo, for those travelling and living in a campervan we can offer a powered camping site. The role is part time, with a minimum 20-25 hours per person, per week. This role will require one person to work in our housekeeping team & one person to work in our housekeeping & hot tub attendant team. If you are applying as two, we can offer the same rostered days off. Please advise your availability in your application, we are looking to fill the role within the 2 weeks. Our housekeeping team will be responsible for ensuring our rooms and facility hub are spotlessly clean at all times. To be successful in this role you will need to produce high quality work, be a team player and take pride in your duties.

𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• Deliver accommodation units and facilities to the highest possible standard, every time.
• Accommodation cleaning involves making beds, and cleaning living, kitchen and bathroom areas.
• Facility Hub cleaning involves the cleaning of our communal bathrooms, kitchen, BBQ and lounge areas.
• Ensure all furniture and facilities are present and in excellent working order and any issues are reported to maintenance immediately.
• Follow Driftaway Queenstown’s cleaning procedures to ensure our standards are met at all times.
• Greet all guests warmly and offer a smile upon all interactions.

• Following Health and Safety Procedures. 

Hot Tub Attendant: Responsible for ensuring our hot tubs are spotlessly clean at all times. Duties include, cleaning of our hot tubs & water quality control. Cleaning of changing & bathroom area. This role also includes grounds work, removal of rubbish & recycling, & keeping our park looking tidy, safe, and visually appealing. A driving licence is required as we have an onsite vehicle which is used daily as part of the role.

Both roles require availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends. Shifts will vary between straight shifts, e.g. 8am-3pm, 10am-2pm and split shifts e.g. 10am-2pm & 4:30pm-8:45pm. 

The successful applicant, must possess:

• Previous housekeeping/amenities cleaning experience (preferred however training will be provided to the right person)
• Attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness
• The ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team
• Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
• A willingness to carry out various tasks as required.
• Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. (days/times will vary each week)
• Driving Licence (required for hot tub attendant role).
