Park All Rounders Staff Unit Avail

We have an incredible opportunity to join our amazing team at Driftaway Queenstown! We are currently looking for two Park All-Rounders to join our team. This role will require one person to work in our housekeeping & reception team & one person to work in our housekeeping & hot tub attendant team. You can apply as an individual or duo, for those living & travelling in a campervan/motorhome we can offer a powered camping site, or we have a private one-bedroom self contained unit available at a discounted rate. The role is a guaranteed 30 hours per person, per week. We require a minimum 6 month commitment. Please advise your availability in your application & commitment length. Housekeeping: Responsible for ensuring our rooms and facility hub are spotlessly clean at all times. Duties include, daily cleaning of our facility hub & rooms; removal of used linen, making beds, cleaning of bathrooms, showers, kitchen, dining, games room, TV lounge.  

Hot Tub Attendant: Responsible for ensuring our hot tubs are spotlessly clean at all times. Duties include, cleaning of our hot tubs & water quality control, chemical testing & recording. Cleaning of changing & bathroom area. This role also includes grounds work, removal of rubbish & recycling, & keeping our park looking tidy, safe, and visually appealing.

Receptionist: Responsible for always delivering an exceptional guest experience. Reception duties include, welcoming guests, checking in, managing bookings, local sales, answering phone calls & managing guest enquiries. Part of our reception role is cleaning of hot tubs. 

Both roles require availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends. Shifts will vary between straight shifts, e.g. 8am-3pm, and split shifts e.g. 10am-2pm & 4:30pm-8:45pm. If you are applying as two, we can offer the same rostered days off.

About you:

• Previous experience in housekeeping and customer service preferrable, however, full training will be provided to the right person.
• Attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness, booking systems & guest experience. 
• Good initiative, personal presentation, and the ability to work independently or in a team
• Excellent personal presentation, warm and friendly approach to welcome our guests.
• A willingness to carry out various daily tasks as required.
• A current drivers licence (essential for hot tub/ grounds role).
• Commitment to safe work practices
