Are you looking for a rewarding job to kick off your New Year in New Zealand? We are looking for an energetic and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team starting late July.

About the Farm

We run a high-tech, modern dairy operation with 1,500 cows. You’ll be working with the latest systems in a fast-paced environment. We pride ourselves on maintaining a professional yet friendly atmosphere where everyone pulls their weight.

The Role

You don’t necessarily need years of experience, but you do need the right mindset. Your daily tasks will include:

• Assisting with milking in a modern shed.
• Moving stock and general farm maintenance.
• Ensuring the welfare of our herd.
• Picking up calves
• Check Calving herd
• Helping with calves
• Checking herds for sick animals

• Weed spraying

• Can-Do Attitude: You’re proactive and ready to learn.
• Hard Worker: Farming is physically demanding—you aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty!
• Team Player: You’ll be joining a supportive team of 6.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Working Holiday Visa.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Good communication
• Commitment to start late July for the minimum of 3 months..
