Perched right on the edge of Lake Wakatipu, Pier offers one of Queenstown’s most breathtaking dining experiences and views. Serving fresh New Zealand seafood, vibrant seasonal dishes, and premium cocktails and wines from sunrise to sunset.

We’re looking for professional, passionate hospitality staff to join our Front of House and Back of House teams for the upcoming season. If you take pride in great service, love working in a polished yet relaxed environment, and want to be part of an experienced and motivated team — this is your opportunity.
 

Responsibilites:

• Knowledge of coffee and beverages and be able to produce with quality and speed
• Understanding of all the equipment behind the bar and how it all works correctly and ensure that it is maintained at all times
• Able to deliver food and beverage to tables as and when required
• Clean tables and collect used glassware and crockery
• Ensure there is always an adequate supply of clean glassware
• Knowledge and understanding of the restaurants food and beverage menu
• Serve customers promptly in a friendly manner
• Attend to all customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Ensure the barista area and restaurant is kept clean and tidy and organised
• Ensure all food, beverage and non-consumables are accounted for and charged accordingly
• Follow NZ Health and Safety regulations and Food Control Plan
• Be flexible in relation to working late night hours or additional hours other than your rostered times
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws
• Attend staff meetings
