Beachside Resort Whitianga and Oceans Resort Whitianga are seeking enthusiastic hard working Applicants for  Fixed Term -  December 2026 to End of April 2027 -  Housekeeping Positions - min 3 to max 6 shifts per week. aprx 5hrs per day. Whitianga is a magical beachside town that offers a great work life lifestyle over the summer period.  We have very limited paid staff accommodation so if you have a camper van, this will be perfect for you. Local campsites are competitive if you organise early.

What we need from you:

  • Housekeepers - clean allocated guest rooms and public areas to a high standard, ensuring we meet our guests expectations 
  • An eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness
  • Be a team player and excellent communicator 
  • Have a positive can do attitude and bring your best every day
  • Valid working rights in New Zealand
  • Due to the seasonal nature of our business, applicants must be willing to commit to our peak operating period.  Team members are expected to be available to work throughout the Christmas and New Year period, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day on a rostered basis. 
  • Weekend shifts weekly – mostly one of two days. Flexibility is a must for our busy property, we are looking to add to our core team over the summer period,  - let's talk about what could work for you and for us! 
  • Having a very good level of fitness is a must as this work can be physically  demanding on our very busy days.
