Turtle Totes Needs You Too

Handyperson Builder –  begins with a  2 week Trial (Live-In) with and option for long term employment.Turtle Totes, an earth friendly woven bag brand (made from recycled water bottles!), requires a hands-on, capable  person to  assist in building the backend infrastructure (display, storage)  for the products There are other key responsibilities on offer as well. This is a varied role, perfect for someone practical, proactive and personable.Their is potential for long term contract work. I'm in Fiji working ona conservation project until I return to NZ on May 18 Key Responsibilities Include:

- Helping Create the Turtle Totes Distibution Centre

- A variety of Maintenance and Building Projects

- Assisting with transport, Set Ups and Breakdowns at Markets and Trade shows.

- Packaging and Deliveries

Live-in Option:

Live-in accommodation is available if needed (private room,rural,  beach environment).

Ideal Requirements:

• Construction Experience
• Flexible and reliable – comfortable with a fluid agenda/ weekend work
• Physically capable of lifting/moving market gear
•  Enjoys a varied, relaxed work environment
• Can work independantly
•  Comfortable around dogs.
• A Positive Attitude (high priority)

Job Details:

Start date: 19 May 2026

Location: Algies Bay, Auckland

Contract type: Fixed term – 2 weeks to longterm option (initital trial, option to extend)

Pay:  Pay $25-30/hour after 22 hour volunteer hours in return for 7 days food and board 

Hours: Minimum 22 hours per week  ( weekend work negotiable)
