English Family – Au Pair - Riversdale

Immediate start through to October

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic au pair who is passionate about with children to help care for our 8-year-old, 5 year old and two 3.5 year olds. 

We are looking for someone who is confident with children and has some experience taking care of them.   We live on a lifestyle block in Riversdale, Southland which is 30 minutes from Gore and Lumsden, 1.5 hours to Catlins and 1.45 hours to Queenstown. 

You would help get the children up and ready in the mornings, drive them to School and preschool and then pick them up in the afternoons, bringing them home and assisting us with their care until bedtime.

Some light housework would be helpful, hanging out washing, helping the children tidy up their rooms and toys and keeping the communal areas clean and tidy.

As there is alot of driving involved, we prefer that you are a confident driver with a full clean drivers license. 

We can provide you with your own bedroom in our house (you will share a bathroom with the children), food, wifi, access to a car for your personal use and an allowance of $300 per week.

Hours (approx)

Mon, Tues: 7am to 9am and 2.00 – 7pm

Wed, Thurs: 7am to 12pm and 2.00 – 7pm

Fri: 7am to 9am and 2.00pm to 4pm 

Sat: 7am to 12pm (thought the months of August and September).
