Full Job Description

About The Role:
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Formworker to join our contracting team in Nelson. You'll be hands-on in building bridges, reservoirs, and other large-scale civil structures. From reading drawings to pouring concrete, this is a role for someone who knows their way around complex formwork and is ready to contribute to major infrastructure works.

Wages: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Transporting gear around site
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, mortar, and plaster
• Reading and working from formwork drawings
• Building and dismantling falsework and shuttering
• Steel fixing and large concrete pours
• Supporting the team with other on-site tasks

What We Require:

• Proven experience on large civil projects (bridges, reservoirs, etc.)
• Confident working from drawings
• Skilled in steel fixing, shuttering, and formwork
• Strong focus on health & safety
• Great attitude and attention to detail
• Class 1 licence preferred
• Valid Site Safe – we can assist with this
• Wheels Tracks Rollers (WTR)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
