Farm Work Opportunity in New Zealand – Live & Work on a Beautiful Farm!

Are you looking for a role with a supportive team where you can grow and build your skills across all aspects of dairying?

We’ve got an opportunity on our farm starting mid September at a Farm Assistant level. Ideally this is a longer term position, but we will consider someone in a fixed term role as long as they can stay until at least early January — for us, finding the right fit for our team matters more than anything.

• A desire to take responsibility and enjoy working with systems

Tasks include:

• Milking cows, shed duties, & general farm maintenance
• Allocating feed
• Calf rearing and calving tasks
• Tractor work and other farm duties
• Other farm tasks you are skilled in or willing to lean

What We Offer You:

• Fair pay in the range of $26-$30/ hour dependent on experience
• 5 days off every 3 weeks – taken as 1 or 2 days at a time, giving you flexibility to explore, we also are happy to give longer time off for travelling around.

Requirements:

• Have existing dairy or related farming experience
• You must be eligible to work in New Zealand & ideally available to start between late June/early July, and commit until at least December - preferably longer.
• Have your own transport (we’re not close to public transport)
• Have a good level of english, as our workplace is dynamic and communication is key to our team working so well.
