Kitchen Porter Needed
We are looking for motivated Kitchen Porters to join our busy kitchen team at the iconic McLeod's PIZZA BARN & BREWERY in Waipu.
Come and work in the beautiful Bream Bay and enjoy all it has to offer over the height of summer.
McLeod's Brewery is currently NZ CHAMPION MEDIUM BREWERY (201,000 litres to 2 million litres per annum) and current holder of NEW ZEALAND'S CHAMPION BEER 2024 - McLeod's Tropical Cyclone Double I.P.A. A meal and award winning beer free after each shift. Beer and pizza - what could be better.
The contract would run from mid- December 2024 until the 9th February 2025.You must be available over this period everyday except Christmas and Boxing day as we are closed.
Job responsibilities would include - clean and sanitise cookware, dishes, utensils, and cooking stations throughout the kitchen. Sweep and mop the kitchen area as needed. Assist our chefs by preparing ingredients. This may include chopping, slicing, washing, and peeling vegetables and cutting meats.
