Food Truck Staff!

EVENT STAFF NEEDED for the 30th of December – 1st of January
 

Position: Chef / Kitchen Assistant
Event Dates: December 30th, 2024 – January 1st, 2025
Location: Festival near Wanaka, Otago
 

We’re helping our clients staff their food truck for a popular New Year’s festival near Wanaka. We need 2 experienced chefs and 3 experienced kitchen assistants to join the team from December 30th to January 1st.
 

What You’ll Be Doing:
 

For Chefs: Cooking on the fryer and grill using pre-prepared ingredients.
Keeping things running smoothly in the food truck.
Making sure everything is clean and organized.
 

For Kitchen Assistants: Helping with food prep and assembling orders.
Taking orders and handling cash (cash handling experience required).
Keeping the kitchen clean and assisting with any other tasks as needed.
 

Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food truck environment.
Must be available for shifts on December 30th, 31st, and January 1st (shifts range from 6:00 am to midnight).
Reliable transport to and from the event.
Legal working rights in New Zealand.
 

Rates: Good rates, to be discussed during the interview.
