Product Designer 3d / Cad

Role Overview:

In this CAD and 3D Designer role, you’ll take charge of both the design and build of our fleet campervans. You’ll be responsible for creating detailed designs and managing the construction process from start to finish. We’re looking for someone who can combine strong design skills with practical project management. You’ll be able to lead your own projects and take ownership of your work. The role is flexible, and we’re open to alternative work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• CAD & 3D Design:

  • Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fleet campervans using Rhino 8 and Fusion 360.
  • Develop efficient, functional layouts that meet the practical needs of our customers.
  • Prepare CNC cutting data, including nesting and G-code generation for van components.
  • Continuously explore new materials and design methods to improve our builds.

   

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CAD and 3D design, with a focus on vehicle or mobile home builds.
• Proficiency in Rhino 8 and Fusion 360 for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
• Experience working with CNC machinery and G-code generation.
• Strong project management skills, with experience leading design and build projects.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with teams and keep clients informed.
• A practical understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing needs.
• A passion for campervans or mobile living is a bonus.
