We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled people to join our team as a Chef or Kitchen Crew for the upcoming summer season. This fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment at Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve, a premier holiday destination known for its stunning natural beauty.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen environment (Chef or Kitchen Crew roles)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service

Additional Details:

• Candidates may choose to stay onsite in their own van or tent, or opt for offsite accommodation during the contract period.
• Competitive remuneration package based on experience
• Minimum of 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods

The Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve is located at the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park in the spectacular Tasman region, just a 50-minute drive from Nelson and 20 minutes from Motueka. Our vision is to be the premier outdoor coastal recreation destination in New Zealand, with 250 hectares of historic coastal land, including the famous Kaiteriteri Beach, Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park, and Kaka Pa Historic Reserve.

We manage this land with responsibility to the Crown and are fully funded through our commercial operations, including accommodation & conferencing, hospitality, retail, recreation, and concessions.
