Herd Manager

Kenmare Dairy is looking for a Herd Manager to start June or July 2023 (date negotiable)

Ideally the successful applicant will have 2+ years dairy farming experience (1 year minimum)

Duties will be to assist with the daily operations of our dairy farm such as milking, animal health, pasture management, monitoring and recording and training junior staff.

This will be a great position for someone to further their dairy farming skills in New Zealand, as well as learn about some of the latest technology such as Halter. 

We are located near Culverden, just over an hour North of Christchurch, and 40 Minutes to the popular Thermal Reserve of Hanmer Springs. 

• You will be working with 6+ other staff members in a picturesque area with great outdoor activities in the near vicinity.
• Excellent time off roster and daily work roster allowing flexibility when required.

• Applicants must be in NZ, have a working holiday visa, and excellent level of English, valid driver's licence, and will need their own vehicle.
