EXPERIENCED BARTENDER

The Blue Breeze Inn is part of the Ponsonby Central complex in Auckland, and we're bustling night and day.  We're seeking experienced bartenders with great people skills . You'll know your wine, and you'll be keeping our rum-based cocktail flowing with a few classic thrown in there. 

We offer a good rate of $24-$28 to suit your experience and character.  We expect you to have high standards, backed up by your work history and references.  We know and appreciate the value of talent, which is why we work hard to attract great staff and keep them happy.  

As part of the bar team, experience a balanced roster for a good work life balance, time off (we all need a break), industry focused training, up skilling and hands on mentoring when creating your new potion

With ingredients pressed for elixirs and potions, baby coconuts, hacking swords and one of New Zealand's best collections of rum - at The Blue Breeze Inn, we make sure you get the cool stuff you need to let your imagination fly.

This is a golden opportunity to work in a bar that's always busy, with a cracking palette of Asian and Pacific produce to work with.  

Here's what we expect of the successful applicant:

You have at least two years of bar tending and cocktail  experience.

You're a natural with people, customers and staff alike.

You're organised and on time, setting an example for the rest of the team.

You have a genuine love of hospitality - just like us. We all know there are easier jobs out there, but few come with the same satisfaction of the perfect cocktail, smoothly served to a delighted customer.

You will be responsible for quality control.
