Au Pair / Farm Assistant

We are dairy farming and looking for support for 8-10 weeks over the winter. Ideally from mid July to mid / late September.

We have two school aged girls who are 5 and 7 and need help with them before school. This would be for an hour every morning between 7.30-8.30am.

After this it would be to come out on the farm and help with the cows and calves. 

There would be some after school activities and horse riding for one daughter on a Tuesday morning. We are hoping you will be able to support us so we can get to those activities as much as possible.

It would ideally suit someone who is keen to try dairy farming and have a nice introduction to the industry.

Wet weathers and gumboots will be provided unless you have these already. 

You will have use of our vehicle for any transport of the kids. It would be ideal if you have your own vehicle for your time off. 

Days would be Monday to Friday. Food and board would be deducted from pay. We can guarantee at least 35 per week but may be up to 40 hours. 

We are located 45-60 minutes from the ski field so this is ideal for days off. We are also 90 minutes from Christchurch or 25 minutes south of Ashburton. 

You will have your own bedroom and share a bathroom with the kids. 

We will need to see a copy of your driving licence (international) and working holiday visa.
