We are looking for seasonal vineyard workers to start on 28th May (Induction 28th, first day in vineyard 29th). The main task for our winter seasonal vineyard roles is ‘painting’ which involves applying a nutrient sealant to freshly pruned vines to protect them from pest and disease. The work requires a reasonable level of fitness as you will be walking up and down rows all day and some bending will be involved. You also need good, basic English to understand the Supervisors’ instructions and any health & safety requirements. You may at times be asked to do other winter tasks including rock picking, preparing wire clips and general vineyard maintenance work.

Transport to and from the vineyards can be provided at a cost of $40 per week.

You must hold a valid right to work in New Zealand (please note, we are NOT an SEE employer) and you must be available to come to Blenheim to sign up in advance of the start date. Positions will be filled on a first come first served basis.
