Head Chef

LARGE, BUSY CAFE/GRILL/PIZZERIA - TOURIST TOWN

This busy casual eatery is looking for an experienced Head Chef, with experience in making homemade pizzas, cabinet food, baking and with good experience in managing short order meals.

This is a full-time job.  You will be working mainly days, with no early mornings and a few nights only.  Ideally, we would like someone permanent, but consideration will be given to someone shorter term.  Approximately 40 hours a week.

You will be managing, training and working alongside a small team.  

You will need to be able to work under pressure in a high- volume environment, responsible for all aspects of the kitchen and its management, including ordering and stock control.

Hanmer Springs is a vibrant, sub-alpine outdoor adventure town.  It's smaller and is an awesome place to live and to work and it is 130kms north-west of the city of Christchurch.

Accommodation is available if required in a shared staff house.
