THE ROLE

We’re looking for an exceptional campervan fitout specialist to lead the building of a number of new 2-person campervans on a full time 5 month contract. The role is based in our Auckland HQ, in Airport Oaks.

The vans are all exactly the same and the process for building them has already been fully developed, with all parts / suppliers sourced. The interior is made from pre-built cabinetry, so no carpentry or constructing of cabinets is required.

This is a hands on role and you will be the main person on the tools, preparing the vehicles to receive the pre-constructed cabenetry including; Water tanks / plumbing, 12V dual battery system / wiring, installing cabinetry, curtains, roof vent, interior table etc.

You will also work closely with the Branch Manager and Founder to ensure we have the right parts in stock at the right times and things run smoothly.

Full training will be provided, but we are looking for someone with solid skills and some level of hands on relevant experience.

• Excellent DIY skills across all basic tools
• High attention to detail, good at following processes
• Motivated self-starter, able to work on your own without supervision
• Take pride in doing quality work and minimising mistakes
• A resourceful problem solver, able to figure out creative solutions
• Ability to plan your time efficiently
• Managing inventory of parts / tools to ensure efficiency
• Must have a full driver's licence and be able to get to our HQ daily

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience in building campervans / fitouts
• Any trades skills
• Experience in 12V wiring
• Interest in campervans / motorhomes / caravans or similar
