On the Shores of Lake Ohau nestled on 10 hectares is a 72 room Alpine Lodge. The owners have created an amazing recipe that has stood the test of time that has generation after generation returning over winter to unwind and ski their hearts out. Summer is no slouch either, with the lodge being a prime stop for the Alps to Ocean cycle trail.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Housekeeping team member, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience during their stay at our lodge for the right reasons. You will support our head housekeeper ensure rooms are ready and the lodge is looking great.

We are sad to see two housekeepers leave early due to unforeseen circumstances. 
This opens the door for you to come in and help us finish the winter season (4 Oct) and stay for Spring (until Christmas).
We would be looking for the successful people to arrive next week, starting work Monday 14 Sept…

Mix of day and varying hours per week that change with the season due to our guest requirements… BUT building to full time for November and December.

Role would suit a couple if you work well together, with more hours potentially available as a kitchen hand.

Responsibilities:

• cleaning rooms and public areas for arrivals
• servicing rooms for stay overs
• sorting and organizing store room areas
• helping with stock takes and ordering requirements
• plan and schedule daily cleaning requirements.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

• Ready to roll up your sleeve with a can do attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and staying calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
