Dairy Assistant

Work among the world’s most amazing scenery. On your days off you will have outdoor activities right on your doorstep, including, tramping, ski fields, beaches, rafting, mountain biking, sky diving, fishing and more.

We have the following role:

• Relief Milker - starting now - min 6 weeks

Tasks

• Milking, getting cows in, plant wash down 
• Assisting with  calf rearing
• Animal health including feeding, giving treatments etc
• Pasture management incl moving break fences
• General farm duties
• Machinery maintenance 
• Weed spraying 

Requirements:

• Previous experience on a dairy farm or working with livestock is essential. 
• You also must have good English
• Willingness to learn 
• Legal right to work in NZ (unable to support an AEWV)
• Tractor or 2 wheel motorbike experience an advantage

Accommodation is provided on farm

Remuneration $24-$26 per hour
