Telehandler Operator

Canterbury Dried Food are proud to produce some of the world’s finest dehydrated herb and vegetable leaf products.  Our business prides itself on a paddock-to-plate operating system, where we oversee and/or grow our crops, harvest and transport to our unique facility and dehydrate, classify and package ready for shipment. Our Harvest is a seasonal operation from October to May 

We have short term vacancy for an experienced telehandler operator during April for our Harvest Team. This position may also suit someone who is an experienced harvester operator (Claas Lexion) to do some relief driving.  This role may also encompass cultivation work (depending on skills) which could suit someone who has grown up on a farm operating cultivating machinery.  We operate Case, New Holland and John Deere Tractors.  Main duties would be cultivating/drilling/rolling, compost spreading and Irrigation.  

NO ACCOMMODATION and you will require your own reliable transport to get to our rural location

This position is only suitable for those currently in New Zealand, with a work visa, bank account and IRD number.
