Role Overview
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of CarbonScape’s plant equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass both mechanical and electrical maintenance, focusing on preventative measures and swift resolutions to minimize downtime.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance.
  • Provide crucial electrical and mechanical support to our pilot plant operations.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot, and execute necessary repairs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and inventory levels using company software.
  • Develop and adhere to a routine and preventative maintenance schedule to enhance plant reliability.
  • Oversee parts and materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and critical parts availability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, offering recommendations for enhanced equipment performance.
  • Uphold high standards of health, safety, and well-being in accordance with SOPs.

 
Qualifications:

  • Valid EWRB license.
  • Prior experience in Electrical/Mechanical Industrial maintenance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and get results
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the plant
