Music Festival Volunteer Exchange

This position is not paid.  We are looking for volunteers happy to contribute their time in exchange for food, free camping space, and a free ticket to the festival.  You need to either have a tent or a campervan to stay on the festival land. 

Sanctuary Sounds is an annual music festival held at a rural property in Takapau, Central Hawkes Bay.  It is a 3 day grass roots festival featuring bands from all over New Zealand and abroad.  As a not-for-profit event, we work really hard to bring community together and we need as much help as we can get.  You'll get to meet some amazing people and experience the 3 day festival.   

Jobs consist of building, gardening, cooking, art, etc.  Mostly, you just need to be prepared to help out when and where it is needed and enjoy being part of the community!  

The land is rural and rustic!  You'll need to be self sufficient, have an easy going attitude,  motivation to work hard, and openness to have a good time!

We are currently looking for : 

Cook - Meal plan and all ingredients provided
Artists - Help create the atmosphere of the festival by creating props for this year's theme, Turn Back Time
Builders - Help create props and add to the infrastructure of the festival
General help - Anyone that is willing to work hard
