Holdens Bay Holiday Park is situated only 10 minutes from the city and Rotorua's best attractions. We have a range of self-contained units, cabins, powered sites for campers and an Airbnb property.
We are looking for a couple to join our team as Park Assistants! Applicants will be able to start as soon as possible.
About the role:
Park Assistants are an integral part of our team, responsible for keeping the park clean and well maintained. Daily tasks include cleaning rooms and communal facilities, reception, processing laundry and keeping the grounds looking tidy.
Park Assistants are required to clean rooms and communal areas to a high standard in a quick time frame. As part of your weekly tasks, you will be required to assist with maintenance areas such as gardening, painting, repairs, and general up-keep of the grounds. Reception work may be required from time to time. This will involve checking guests in and out, taking calls, and advising on activities and attractions in the local area.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
Prior cleaning/hospitality experience will be a strongly preferred however we will consider all applicants.
Hours and time off:
The role is 5 days a week, for a minimum of 25 hours. We work between 8:30am-5:30pm. Each week you will have 2 days off.
Accommodation:
You will be required to live on-site and assist with after-hours responsibilities 2-3 nights a week (possibly more if management are away or staff take leave or get sick).
Own van required as a powered site is available with use of the communal kitchen, toilets and showers. ( Wi-Fi included).
