Calf Rearer

We are looking for a honest motivated calf rearer to work with another calf rearer to care, train, feed for 400 heifer replacements that will stay on farm until December and 100 beefies and bobbies until 4 days old. 

We are a large scale Dairy farm located 5 minutes from Tinwald and 10 min from Ashburton. We Provide a large shared 3 bedroom  accommodation, 

We have very good calf rearing facilities and gear to make the job easy and enjoyable. All training and support provided by experienced team who take pride in the care and wellbeing of our animals  
The role will start August 1st through to November 1st. roster is negotiable 

pay is hourly at $24 plus 8% holiday pay, also wet weather gear and gumboots/wellies povided.

The ideal applicant will have high standards of animal care,, honest, punctual, display excellent  hygiene, attention to detail, excellent communication and a can do attitude.
