We are a locally owned hospitality group with 4 venues in the Auckland area (Ponsonby, Auckland CBD, North Shore & Central Auckland), and we are currently seeking a talented duty manager to join our team. This position is for the CBD outlet.

As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overall operation of the restaurant, managing & providing support for a team of staff, controlling inflow of guests to maximize turnover for the day, making recommendations, explaining the service style & items on offer, ordering & ensuring your guests are well looked after among other side duties. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of self presentation, cleanliness of the venue at all times to reflect the brand, and safety in the venue for guests as well as staff. 

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous experience managing a high-volume restaurant is preferred but we are happy to train up the right candidate
  • 2 years of experience as a waiter in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Excellent knowledge of food & beverage
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • A passion for hospitality & excellence
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current GM Certificate & LCQ would be preferred, but we are happy to sponsor the right candidate
