Cafe Assistant Manager

We are Whole Foods & Plant Based lunch cafe in the middle of Auckland CBD, looking for a Friendly & Bubbly person to join our small Cafe team! 

About the role

We don't do table service and we don't make meals to order. Our service style is delicious cabinet food made daily to serve our customers. No coffee or Alcohol serving. We also make and sell our own mueslis and nut butters. 

Your main responsibility will be to assist our Café manager on day-to-day service, serve customers at the counter, maintain a clean cafe and workspace and be responsible for daily banking and leading the team when manager is away.

You will also be trained to produce nut butters and fulfill online orders - some weeks there will be shifts on these departments.

Standard shifts are between 9AM - 5PM. Shifts do change. Currently we are offering minimum 30 hours per week, but extra shifts are available during busy periods, and leave covers.

Please be aware that we are not able to help you with visa, you'll need to have right to work in NZ.

Start date is asap.
