Barista/kitchen Hand

Experienced Barista/Kitchen Hand required for busy cafe. 

We are a small energetic team looking for an experienced barista/kitchen hand

 Kitchen Hand

• Food preparation and ingredient handling
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Supporting chef and team
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

Barista

• Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Operating coffee machines and POS systems
• Maintaining café cleanliness and presentation

What We're Looking For

• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Food safety knowledge (advantageous)
• A Working Holiday Visa with NZ IRD and bank account details are essential.

• Flexible shifts and schedules
• A Large Park area is available if you have a self-contained vehicle.
• A shower, bathroom and kitchen can be included for a negotiated rate.  
• A flexible start date is available, but you will be required from mid-August through to November 26.

With plenty to do on your day off, you can explore this lovely area. With rivers to swim in, we are close to Nelson Lakes, Abel Tasman walks, Rainbow Ski Field, and have a cycle trail on our back door.  A Four Square Supermarket and NPD petrol station are only 8 km away.
