We are searching for someone who is a fantastic team player with a positive attitude that loves building strong relationships and is prepared to get stuck in too all parts of the jobs. This job is not your typical 8 to 5 desk-bound role and offers plenty of variety. It is stimulating and requires a fit all-rounder who has strong practical and office skills as you will not be desk bound.
As an Operations and Sales Representative your main duties in this busy position will include: * Handling rental car bookings, reservations and sales. * Assisting customers and stepping them through the rental vehicle processes. * Maintaining and updating our reservations and administration systems. * Coordinating the daily movements of the fleet. * Checking vehicles out on hire and back in on return. * Driving customers to and from the airport. * Vehicle grooming, safety checks and delivery.
To succeed in this busy role, you will ideally have come from a background where you have dealt with customers and operated in an environment where you have had to ‘think on your feet’ and make your own decisions. You will need: * Strong computer skills, (ideally previous experience on reservation systems). * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. * Excellent attention to detail. * Ability to plan, prioritise and organise. (basically, great time management skills). * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. * A great attitude with a bubbly personality. * You will need a full driver’s license and be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles (manual and automatic) from small hatchbacks through to minibuses. * Rental car industry experience is not required; however, an interest in the tourism industry would be an advantage. This is a full-time position.
You will be required to work a rotating 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays. This role also includes sole charge, but you also need to be a team player and willing to work in with your teammates.
