Persimmon Orchard

Persimmon season

- Season start from 29th April 2024

- This is an orchard helper position. Your task include but not limited to picking persimmon for the season. Sometimes you are required to help manager picking up the crates from rows load onto truck to send to packhouse. Hence this job does involved a decent amount of lifting. 

- Workplace at Warkworth.

- Working hours 8am-430pm, 5 days a week. Weather dependant

- Approximately 4 to 5 weeks job.

- Hourly rate: $ 23.15 + 8%

Required:

- Own vehicle to go to work and back home. No public transport near workplace.

- Physically fit to do lifting and picking fruit work

- Horticulture/ Farm work experience is an advantage, but not essential.
