2024 Vintage Harvesters

We’re looking for a team to help bring in our 2024 grape harvest we have  13 positions to fill at present. You will need to commit to the full duration of the harvest which is approximately 5-6 weeks, 5-6 days a week, 8 hour days. Note that this can change according to weather conditions. 

You must be able to work outdoors in the heat and therefore you need to a certain level of fitness if you feel you would be unable to do this please do not apply. A working level of spoken English is essential.

You would need to be here for an induction/introduction by 2 pm on the 1st of March with work currently scheduled to begin on the 4th however this date can change depending on the weather between now and then.

We have enough room in our accommodation to house 7 people (3 couples and a single person) and room for 3 vans (couples) with access to a kitchen and bathroom. If you are hired you are welcome to arrive and stay in the accommodation as early as the 26th of February.

Accommodation and power come with the job we ask you to help maintain the accommodation while you are here with light gardening work, mowing, etc,

Applicants must meet the following criteria

·         Have own transport.

·         Be energetic and physically fit.

·         Be willing and able to work a flexible work pattern depending on the weather.

·         Have a valid NZ Work Visa, IRD #, and NZ Bank Account.
