Packing And Processing Flowers

Moffatt's is a leading flower grower/wholesale company located in Halswell, Christchurch.  We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and quick learners (would also suit a couple or friends) to work in our processing department.  Start date would be as soon as possible and we would be looking for someone who can stay for a minimum of 3 months, ideally longer. The work involves packing the flowers into boxes in a chiller.  You will need to be accurate as it involves picking and packing from order forms and also completing courier tickets and manifests.  Other duties would be unpacking and processing flowers that arrive to us. The work is quite physical, as you will be on your feet all day and will need to be fit and able to lift at times up to 15 kg.  The duties for one person also involves shrink wrapping and loading trolleys onto our small truck (normal manual drivers licence) as well as occasional deliveries.  We operate in a fast-paced work environment and you will need to complete tasks within set time frames and to our high quality standards.  The days of work are generally Sunday to Thursday with the possibility of doing Fridays as an extra day. There will be extra days/hours required over our busy days occasionally..

You will need to have a valid working visa for this role (sorry we are unable to employ people on SSE visas)
