Nursery Tree Lifting - Immediate Start

Seasonal work available at Rangiora Nursery. A forestry tree nursery based at 10 Chiltons Rd, Swannanoa, North Canterbury.

Nursery workers are required to assist with the harvesting of small pine trees (approx 30cm in height). Jobs may include tree lifting, grading, root trimming and packing.  The job is very physical so we will require people that are very fit and motivated.  

Work is on a fixed term contract starting now until mid-Sept. Typically, 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) and approx. 30-35 hours per week. Nursery workers are on contract pay rates with a minimum pay rate of $23/hr guaranteed. Great potential to earn good money if you are keen and hardworking e.g. $35+/hr plus holiday pay. 

Applicant must haves:

-       Be able to commit until the end of the season i.e. mid-September.

-       Have own transport and accommodation. Local camping grounds close by.

-       Work experience in horticulture or agriculture.

-       Valid visas, or NZ Citizenship/Residency.

-       NZ Bank Account/IRD Number.

-       Be reliable and able to work the hours and days required.
