Wildernest is a bespoke glamping company looking for proactive individuals to be part of their Housekeeping team this Summer. Housekeeping is an extremely important role as this is what makes the Glamping Village look polished and inviting for our guests - for either a music festival, wedding, or corporate event.

Housekeeping experience is a definite advantage as is any relevant experience working with bell tents, glamping, and/or festivals.

The housekeeper's role is to prepare all the tents to be guest-ready for our events. This involves being a wizard at bedmaking, ideally with hotel experience in triple sheeting and corner tucks. Vacuuming the carpets and generally making those final touches to the tent to make them look beautiful and inviting.

You will also be required to make the powder room look fabulous, plus add all of the final touches to any lounge or dining area. This job is usually tailored more towards those who have a natural flair for finer detail, but by all means not limited to!
Setting up entails long days in all weather conditions and quite often you will be required to withstand hot days inside the tents, making beds, and preparing all areas for our guests’ arrival.

Every site is outdoors, so if you love working as a team and outside this is perfect for you! You will be working with like-minded individuals, travelling for part of the summer, and of course, being part of the festival.
There may be more work available for a small team in between the larger jobs mentioned on the dates below.

You must be flexible and happy to stay overnight on-site for up to a week at a time, while we set up and break down, you must have access to your own tent or van, and be capable of cooking for yourself while away. We provide the facilities to cook with and you provide your own food.  We also provide bathroom facilities for staff and a general hangout area for crew.

If you feel you meet the above expectations and are committed to being able to work all or just one event, please apply here. Please also send your CV and an email telling us a little about yourself and any relevant experience you have.

We will be reviewing and replying to applications until mid-November.
