Bouquet Maker And Flower Wrapping

Moffatt's is a leading flower grower/wholesale company located in Halswell, Christchurch.  

We are looking for a couple of people for our bouquet and floral wrap lines for our supermarkets. It would be ideal if you had experience in floristry, but we would also consider someone who can wrap our flowers and bouquets in matching papers and bows.  It is important that you can work at a good pace as we have high numbers to make most days and especially for Mother's Day coming up in May.

Start date would be as soon as possible and we would be looking for someone who can stay for a minimum of 3 months, ideally longer. Other work includes unpacking flowers, barcoding and any other general work in our processing department.  Any flower processing experience would be helpful, but most important is the ability to work at a fast pace and have good quality control. The work is quite physical, as you will be on your feet all day and will need to lift flower boxes, buckets etc. 

Good time management is important as it is a fast-paced work environment and you will need to complete tasks within set time frames and to our high quality standards to meet courier delivery deadlines.  The days of work are generally Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day. There will be extra days/hours required over our busy days. especially Mother's Day.

You will need to have a valid working visa for this role (sorry we are unable to employ people on SSE visas)
